Road Safety Forums Letters to Ministers /Ministerial Responses

Road Safety Forum

Today the 10/4/2015 there was the first of hopefully many road safety forums to be held at Parliament House Brisbane, all the well known road safety organisations were invited, which included the MRAQ on behalf of motorcyclists. MRAQ President Chris Mearns attended on behalf of the MRAQ, he presented this paper below and when given the chance spoke about what we as an organisation believe would make a positive change, and how we would like to see these changes made to how road safety and policing of such safety matters handled in a way to modify behaviour of road users and share the road as responsible road users. It was very positive and refreshing to hear from many organisations such as QPS, RACQ and CARRS-Q just to name a few, that were all are focused on the same initiatives.
